Today, AI event started in Hiroshima. By choosing this city, the organizers pointed that AI is a threat of nuclear bomb level.
AI Ethics event held in Hiroshima these minutes. AI is currently a largely unregulated business technology, which leads to a variety of privacy and security concerns; in social, economic, mental, almost in every area!
Deployment of AI at scale can affect jobs and even lives of billions. Three sessions will be held during the first day: the first session will focus on “The Scientific Perspective: Risks and Opportunities of AI,” the second session will address “The Technological Perspective: Practical Applications of Ethical AI,” and the third session will discuss AI Governance.
The programme of the second day is dedicated to celebrating the signing of the Rome Call by leaders of world religions, which will be held at the Hiroshima International Conference Center (DAHLIA).
How these problems are handled by the USA?
FBI and several other agencies published an advisory warning that China-linked hackers are pre-positioning for “destructive cyberattacks” aimed at critical infrastructure.
National Cyber Director Harry Coker said Wednesday that his office has begun work to hold software manufacturers accountable when they “rush code to market,” saying the ONCD is working with academics and legal experts to develop different “liability regimes.”

Coker stressed that the private sector will be vital to defending America from cyber attacks. He has a program of secutiry jobs creation, the most briilliant response to all problems.
AI Safety is essential for mankind. UN Pact for the Future will be critical to its implementation.
Pact for the Future is UN initiative, including 2 days of public actions.
The UN Action Days are an opportunity to elevate the voice of youth in the multilateral system. Youth are key participants in efforts to secure breakthroughs in global cooperation. Youth challenge conventional thinking, hold leaders to account and are focused on generations that come after us. Youth stand to lose the most if global leaders fail to fulfil their promises. The Action Days will kick off with a dedicated, youth-led afternoon facilitated by the United Nations Youth Office in close collaboration with relevant networks/stakeholder groups to generate momentum ahead of the mandated Summit. The day will be convened under the theme of “#YouthLead for the Future: We believe in the promise of a better world for all”.
The Action Days will kick off with a dedicated, youth-led afternoon followed by a Saturday programme which will focus on three priority themes — digital and technology, peace and security, and sustainable development and financing. In addition to the three themes, there will also be a dedicated focus throughout the day on future generations. Expected participants include Heads of State, Ministers, senior UN officials and representatives from the private sector, civil society and other actors.
You can apply. The focal points for each thematic session are listed below.

Business aspects of AI.
Security is both public and private sectors’ main concern. That means immence business opportunity.
Dubai has became the safest city by placing cameras everywhere. Imagine a global Web of Trust, billions of cameras and data points aimed at safety.

AGI race winners: USA, China or Saudi Arabia?
Strong AI (AGI) is hundreds times more powerful than narrow AI. This is why hundreds of billions would be invested in the race for AGI.
Saudi Arabia has created two Ai funds this year, $140 bln. China has committed around $200 Bln (via 15 digital leaders). Other G8 countries are lagging behind in terms of public investments in AI, including the USA.
Only private sector helps the USA to compete with China.
Gilman Louie, the founder of In-Q-Tel, has started America’s Frontier Fund (AFF.) This new fund will invest in key critical deep technologies to help the U.S. keep pace with the Chinese onslaught of capital focused on this area. AFF plans to raise one billion dollars in “patient private capital” from both public and private sources and to be entirely focused on identifying critical technologies and strategic investing.

Techno-optimistic AGI projects will be discussed at #StrongAIsummit and in Future Creators TV series, https://saisum.world/
